First, as the verse of the manuscript claims it is, THE NEXT TESTAMENT: Into the Adulthood of Civilization is THE TRUTH! Beyond your goodwilled awareness and understanding and your goodwilled devotion to God, our parent Creation, there are no other expectations.
Yes, The Next Testament is a statement of THE TRUTH, a statement of the Expectations of our creator – that is, THE CREATOR, in the role of loving caring parent CREATION—CREATION’S Expectations for the evolution of humankind and humankind’s Civilization into GOD’S own Image.
And yes, as any loving, caring parent has, our parent Creation has had expectations from in the beginning for the creation and evolution stage to stage – Age to Age – and now here, Civilization, we are on the verge of our Adulthood in our 21st century. There has always been parent Creation’s promise of support for our growth and maturation through Creation’s guidance and favoring and even Saving, growth up into what is known variously, but by some is seen to be the Second Coming—Civilization’s step up into parent Creation’s own Image, where we, Civilization, will partner with our parent Creation from the top floor perspective of Creation in the business of existence.
And, this parent/child relationship may seem like a simple poetic analogy and the cliché that “Someday All this will be yours!” even a joke. But believe this: The parent child relationship with the Creator Creation is not poetry. It is in reality THE TRUTH. Though it is a parallel to our concept of any parent/child relationship, our child/parent relationship with Creationis and has been since in the beginning the actuality of our relationship with Creation!

DON’T EVER EXPECT ME TO CHANGE MY GOODWILLED LONG-STANDING KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT’S TRUTH!
and/or:
WHO SAYS THIS NEXT TESTAMENT IS CREATION’S TRUTH?
and/or:
BESIDE ALL THAT, WHO SAYS THERE’S A CREATOR AND THAT THE CREATOR
IS THE PARENT OF HUMANKIND?
And: WHAT’S WITH THE SINGLE NAME PSEUDONYM, CHARLES?

All of that’s fair—including, of course, your belief in God or Creationas a person and as parent of humankind.
Yes! All of that is very fair. So then, to begin, here are some answers to some of the natural questions, starting with the name “Charles” that single-name pseudonym: While I am Carl, the old guy responsible for versing and assembling the manuscript, it should be clear that the ideas are not my ideas, nor is it about me. Hence, the use of a pseudonym.
And, “Creation”? What about the many other names and concepts over the Ages: “God” … “Yahweh” … “Allah“ … “The Almighty” … “Our Father” “Father Almighty” … “Abba” … etc. … etc.?
Please! Please do recall that over the Ages of Civilization’s creation and evolution—from NOTHING!
since “In the beginning”—in the minds of most of humankind there is and has been only ONE GOD and the truth of the simple cliche about a rose by any other name is definitely applicable. Yes, belief in the person of an Almighty Creator by Civilization has been close to universal and, since “In the beginning…” that ONE PERSON by LOVING CARING DEMEANOR can be seen to be by parallel a loving caring parent—THE CARING PARENT OF HUMANKIND AND OF HUMANKIND’S CIVILIZATION
But first, let us say The Next Testament, though in the lineage of the Oldand New, is not meant to take us, Civilization, in a new direction, not meant to spawn any new religions. Our goodwilled religions, based in our goodwilled traditions and devotions, should remain in place to help guide us in goodwill and to help us teach our children the use of goodwilled devotion to our parent Creation, and parent Creation’s Expectations for all goodwilled Civilization.
The Next Testament is a step further in humankind’s relationship with our parent Creation. Having been created and raised – favored and guided and disciplined and tutored, and even Saved – through the Ages since “In the beginning…” Civilization has been, and still is, evolving into the Image of parent Creation, evolving most recently up to the verge of Adulthood Active Love of All Others of Goodwill.

But, GOODWILL? What about that aspect of the evolution of Civilization up into Adulthood and through the loving, caring Nature and the Expectations and the Truth of parent Creation?
Goodwill devotion to the Nature and Expectations and the Truth of our parent Creationhas always been the key to survival and fitness and evolution through the Ages. (Consider for example, the goodwill and logic of the judeo-christian tradition of the Age of Enlightenment that would bless Civilization with the new world flowing with milk and honey and a democratic golden ruled Constitution to help administer it. Was that a coincidence? In Civilization’s young adulthood we – Civilization – were obviously not yet always of goodwill toward others. But goodwilled devotion to The Creator was in place and this judeo-christian tradition has been able to share with the siblings of the world this step up into young adulthood, the Enlightened goodwilled golden rule Constitution.) And the Expectation of parent Creation is for All Goodwilled Selves to evolve into the Image, to arise to be ready for what has been called in some traditions a “Second Coming”.

Okay, but what is this evolution of stages – the Ages – up to the “Adulthood” of Civilization?
Evolution up to Adulthood of Civilization! Having been raised by parent Creation from Ancient infancy and early childhood – RAISED, and then SAVED from our Classic prodigalson-like, recalcitrant youth by the exemplar Savior, the exemplar of Golden Rule Love and Respect for those goodwilled neighbors closest to us, into Enlightenment of our young adulthood embedded passive golden rule love and respect in our democratic Constitution: Now we must be ready to step up into Creation’s perspective, into our Adulthood Wisdom, into a universal view and the Active Love and Care of All Goodwilled Selves of All the body politic of All Goodwilled Civilization, one body with one Truth!
And, we better be ready to move to ADULTHOOD GOODWILLED ACTIVE LOVE OF ALL VERY SOON!

“SOON!”? BUT WHY SO SOON? WHAT’S THE RUSH?
Yes, what’s the rush? Can’t we enjoy the sugar mountain blind idealism of Medieval adolescence battling to overcome reality for Creation’s sake? Or, what about the young adult Enlightened real time logically balanced golden rule democratic problem-solving of give and take young adulthood even though we know Adulthood responsibility is coming? What’s all this RUSH about?
THE RUSH (double entendre intended) is about the new garden of unlimited plenty which is about to bloom. With all we have done, with all we have been given, through the new technology we’ve developed and for which we are responsible (another double entendre), it can be seen there is a new Garden of Unlimited Plenty pending and – in the Truth and Expectations of parent Creation – we must be ready in Adulthood goodwill to administer the unlimited plenty fairly or, most assuredly, we could lose it all.

BUT THE TRUTH? WHO SAYS ALL OF THIS IS THE TRUTH?
Yes, it is the Truth and the Truth is the Truth and it can be seen through the coming of Adulthood Goodwilled Wisdom. And, hopefully, you can and will see that THE NEXT TESTAMENT is the next-step up – not even through the necessity of the guidance and sacrifice of an exemplar SAVIOR, nor the trauma of torn curtainthis time, but simply with goodwilled awareness through the better vision of parent Creation’s Wisdom and thus a clearer view of the Truth of Creation.
All this, if taken in goodwill, will require no major changes in the direction of anyone’s goodwilled perception of the TRUTH.
